Vaccination Policy and COVID-19 Protocol

Please review UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge's Covid-19 policies. It's worth noting that at the moment, meals will still be served buffet-style, though that may change.

We’re committed to doing everything we can to ensure that MaxFunCon is a safe environment to have the creative gathering we know and love. So in addition to UCLA's policies, ALL attendees, MaxFunCon staff, guests, and talent will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (at least two weeks after final dose) prior to entry into MaxFunCon. Proof must be a photo of the front and back of your original vaccination card or a digital copy of your vaccination card. We will be collecting this information before the event. NOTE: A negative test result will NOT be accepted in lieu of proof of vaccination. Everyone must be fully vaccinated.

We will be requiring KN95 or N95 masks for audience members at indoor events (and strongly encouraging them whenever indoors). Performers may be unmasked while performing if they choose. In general, we're trying to have as many outdoor events and classes as possible, and will be opening all of the doors available to us when inside. We will provide one of these masks in each gift bag, and will have some available to grab here and there throughout the space. (If you have your own preferred KN95/N95 mask style by this point, please feel free to bring and wear that for your comfort. Cloth masks don't provide the same degree of protection for you or others, so it's got to be a KN95/N95. Masks with valves will also not be permitted.)

We will be providing all attendees with an antigen test to take upon arrival before checking in to the venue.

Please note that requirements and venue protocols are subject to change as the situation does. We will reach out to you with any changes to this policy.

Policy updated on 5/23/22 to include information about masks and antigen tests.
